the same league as anonymous SI posters

Or anonymous SI posters that change their handle.. Isn't that the 'pot calling the kettle black'. It will be interesting to see if they can make a go of the Linux 'mini-craze'.

Linux doesn't answer the needs of most home users (like Unix it is more technically involved than a MAC or Windows based machine, MAC most definitely wins on usability, but fails on price). It doesn't answer corporations need, as who is there to back it up upon failure and inevitable problems. Where are the apps for it ? A GOOD suite? an Accounting package? etc???

Like NT a few years back (around 94-95), it just isn't quite there yet. It will most likely displace some SCO and small-end UNIX shops, but not the mid and large-size corporations though. Nor the home user.

Ciao!
