Ran some more tests on a different model, this time with 11 inputs, this time I didn't select smaller models and fewer inputs. The SOM models and BP were fine, but the results for GRNN were the same as before. This time the CATNN and TDNN were both bad as well, which corresponded to my experience in the past. Presumably there were too many degrees of freedom. I may try to limit them and see if they do better.
