Altair Discovers Orebody Extension

CODY, Wyo., Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Altair International Inc. (Nasdaq: ALTIF - news) today announced the discovery of a significant extension to its heavy mineral sand orebody at Camden, Tennessee. The extension referred to as the Little Benton Orebody is on the north side of the Big Sandy River in an area previously unexplored. The Little Benton extension exhibits the same high-grade titanium mineralization found at Camden.

Altair's discovery drill hole, MR-177, encountered significant mineralization; and subsequent follow-up rotary drilling identified a flat-lying mineral body contiguous with the known Camden deposit. Resource modeling has commenced at Little Benton. Resource size and grade are being analyzed. Results will be released as they are available.

''The Little Benton extension potentially adds several years of mine life and value to the Camden project,'' said Dr. William Long, President of Altair. ''Altair's corporate focus remains on development of the known resource area with design and development of the Camden pilot plant progressing on schedule.''
