Jay,

Such a file could be built in Excel or Quotes Plus.

The big question in my mind, is what indicator(s) would be useful?

From my reading, NeuroshellTrader and Profit/NGO have such indicators built in.

I just reread Bill's post. Still haven't installed 2.101. But it would seem to me, that if Andrew wants to enhance this version, he is going about it in the wrong way. Neurostock is a program that builds neural nets and that's what I'm interested in. I personally don't care about the type of currency, or the original investment amount, or the commissions that were involved. That data does nothing to enhance the net. I would prefer seeing the addition of the preprocessed filters for the indicators that he just said make such good relateds or any other improvement that would enhance the training of the net.

Jay,

One thing you may want to ask tech support is which influence should be checked when using a technical indicator as an input.

For example if I use a 39 period stochastic as an input would I check the price option or the shortterm option. I know the longterm option is basically a 50 period moving average of the input. We don't want that here. I think the price might just add the input without actually changing it so I would try that first. Shortterm might also be okay but I have no clue really!

Might be worth some experimentation.
