Techfan, Exxon gets a great deal here with synergies in numerous places globally- just look at Indonesia for openers and LNG sales. Throw in the cost cutting involved in the merger- I think that Exxon will come out of this deal in a very powerful position. Don't be fooled by the current fluctuations in the price of oil...

Perhapes in 5 years Oil will be $30 a barrel and XON will be $150 ?
