Re: TCI marketing of ATHM I live in an area served by TCI. I've already notified TCI@home of my interest in their service, since they just finished the HFC upgrade of the cable infrastructure here. Yesterday, I got a demo CD from TCI@Home in the mail. It is apparently being mailed to everyone, because it trys to get you to phone TCI@Home to get more info, etc. So, they are doing blanket mailings of new areas, as they install the HFC infrastructure. It was a good demo, gave a visual comparison of download speeds of ATHM (500k = 1 second) vs. 28.8 (ungodly slow) and ISDN (nearly ungodly slow). So, they are doing something...
