RE:"With
so many Design Engineers leaving AMD, it's no wonder the K7
slips further and further behind."...

Oh really? K7 is slipping? When was the original release date?
What were you working on at AMD?

Jim

Elmer <What do you mean "first" everything?>
You seem to be have a language difficulties
in addition to limited technical comprehension.
"First" means "first", first time ever.
First superpipelined and superscalar
short-tick processor from AMD. First EV6-compliant
north bridge ("Irongate"). First super-south
bridge ("Cobra"). First EV-6 consumer-grade
mainboard ("Gomez"). First K7 BIOS.
And all this in less than 2 years.
And surprise - it all works! Not
too shabby for a project of this scale.
If you can't comprehend the challenges
of the project of such a scale, you are
a Simpson in computers.

<Stay away from my sensitive spot, God only
knows where your hands have been.>
My hands are clean, but I am not so sure about
yours. Restrain yourself from making
untruthful remarks on this thread, and
no one will ever pay attention to your
"sensitivity". Judging by your behavior,
your just wanted it - you got it. Enjoy.

Bye, Simpson.
