Novell Negotiates Israeli Computer Company Purchase
By Ronny Lifschitz

Novell Israel, local branch of Novell, is negotiating with a number of Israeli companies for the purchase of a local firm specializing in consultation, support and integration of data communication networks. Novell Israel is conducting discussions with six local companies and aims to purchase an active, reputable body, operating with several score Novell technicians.

Novell Israel general manager Amir Rosenthaller said that implementation of a deal will enable Novell to provide the local market with communications network installation services and to prepare Novell communications networks for the year 2000. He said that Novell vice president for Europe was recently in Israel and visited the Telecom exhibition. He met with Minister of Communications Limor Livnat and told her that Novell International plans to examine purchasing technology in Israel.
