Joe,

Just came back from lunch...looks like COMS wants to
test 42 by end of day (I think this was the previous high).

I love it when you go to lunch.. you have the most incredible lunch record.. go eat more LUNCH.. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The more I think of the AT&T deal, the more positive it
sounds. 3COM doesn't give out free network advertising for
nothing, so there is a deal in this. Smart move
by COMS also. They are starting to use their leverage.

Yes, this is what I mean. This little contract is really a showcase for T and you know that T will use COMS stuff to build these things (otherwise you would have heard about FORE or ASND or someone else having their net rebuilt by T).

27Gigs. Not completely filled though. Backups? I couldn't
sleep without them.:-) It's also a RAID system, but have
yet to test out it's redundancy features...

When you say over temp, how over temp are we talking here.. also, at 27 Gigs it was either IBM or SEG (I'm betting SEG) drive correct?.. as for raid, as long as it was level 5, you'll be fine.. it'll be slow for a while (while the replacement disk gets rebuilt), but it stays online.. god bless modern redundant computing ;-)
