David, Here is an interesting one......only for the forward thinkers.....P3P This is a slide show.....I believe it is from a working group within IBM, run by a guy from MIT. I have linked to the last slide to show the companies who seem to be participating in this project. Big names. You will need to "slide back" to get to the beginning. I understand that the "fingerprint" they are referring to in this show is digital, not biometric......but it may cast some light on who is going where. They leave open the question of total authentication......but note the Television over PC slant.....interesting. w3.org bg
