Who knows? EDII sure isn't talking.

We do know that BDO Seidman is the seventh largest accountancy, and presumably they would not jeopardize their aspirations to be the biggest of the second tier accountants after the Big 5. (It's no longer the Big 6 as two of them merged.) So that being the case, they must have their standards. Heaven knows there are enough related party transactions here to keep anyone busy, and of course valuing these "strategically located" properties and reading up about these oil royalties that are for the most part being paid to others, that it seems that anything could hang up the audit report.

As far as the SEC is concerned, for the most part they publish whatever you send them if the format is not wrong. Of course any misrepresentation is severely dealt with, but I doubt that they would not post the 10-SB short of prior evidence of fraud by the company.

No I think we can safely say that the company and the auditors knew of these problems before the release was made, but it went out anyway. As a spectator, I am interested to see how long they can run out the string before they report or switch to yet another excuse. I also wonder why they would attempt to boost the price through premature releases when they have announced a share buy back, that most likely has not even commenced.

I would say they have done nothing to dispel cynical interpretations of their actions.

Is it ethical to call BDO and ask how things are going????
