Gottfried;

Yes, I looked at a candlestick chart for today (Big Charts.com)
I see almost no volume for the rest of the day, before or after on the chart. The volume reads as positive. My best guess is that this was an arranged transfer of stock. Perhaps, an insider selling to someone else or a mutual fund buying a big block directly from the corporation, held in street name. If it were just a sale to the MMs the price would have plummeted and it would have been broken up into many smaller blocks. Yesterday's good news for HMT probably had something to do with it. It is hard to tell with these smaller high tech., Silicon Valley, NASDAQ companies because the insiders often hold the bulk of the shares in corporate name, as authorized shares, etc., etc.. It is hard to tell where individuals end and the company begins. Though, they are public companies they are really privately held or controlled until there is heavy institutional investment. Even then, look at Microsoft. Gates and his partners still have huge blocks. What do you think?
