Yeah, down there in the OTCBB, you have a few people with tons of money. They and all of their buddies quietly enter a stock over a period of days. Then one day soon after, they "recommend" the stock in their "newsletters" on on their web sites that are supposedly there to "help" the little guy. When the little guys start buying they sell for a big, fat profit and move on to another one. I know one character who concocted a "news" story and passed it out over SI, Yahoo (before Yahoo got rid of the OTCBB) etc before the market opened. The stock gaped up from .04 to .06 and ran to .24 by 9:45. He sold a boatload of shares between .12 and .18. Of course, he is a rich man now.
