Hi Charles, I enjoyed that post about Visual Studio. It kind of makes me yearn for the days of QB 4.5. <g> I'm not convinced either that - in the area of games - directx is an improvement over what could have been, using the 4gl extender or something like that. I wonder what it would take for developers to write killer games for LINUX. I know ID releases some - if not all - of their stuff on LINUX. LINUX needs a couple more killer games and it might then be able to grab some of that market. FWIW Andy
