<<I'm sorry but I can't agree with this. These offenses [ See how I didn't say the word crimes? Maybe I could get a job in politics after all. ] that he is charged with do not have anything to do with his running the government. >>

What does that have to do with anything?

If he robbed a bank, that wouldn't effect his running of the government.

If he molested a child in the Oval Office (instead of Monica), that wouldn't effect his running of the government.

What is your point? The president is immune from any crime that doesn't effect his running of the government?

The highest law enforcement officer in the US, charged in his oath of office to faithfully execute the laws, subsequently lies in a civil case and to a federal GJ, encourages others to lie or at the least misleads them into repeating his lies, tries to hide evidence, feigns memory lapses, allows a false affidavit to be admitted into evidence which is used by his lawyer to advance a position he knows is false, and that does not go to the heart of fitness to hold this office? Whew!!! JLA

PS I've got some swamp land in Florida I'd like to talk to you about.
