Greg; Re > Hedge it with options on oil futures. now that
makes sense, and I over looked it.

There may be some uncertainty in the minds of the press, but the
deal has to happen, or Europe gets a free lunch.
If the FTC tries to block this some heads will roll.
Consolidation has a head start in Europe as it is, we have lost out
, with the TEX , Shell deal , the BP & AN deal, and
now the Fina and Total deal, if the FTC blocks this; one may ask
just who are they working for the U.S. or Europe.

Still with this merger, I take the absence of momentum in the
market as a poor sign going forward.

I'm not happy with the merger mania, and see all the consolidation
causing a loss of jobs , as well as giving them to much
pricing power, but we can't afford to let Europe go at it and sit
back because of those concerns, if it don't happen we can't compete.
