< Yes, getting rid of the stores would be a positive move for BAMM, but you won't see them do it. No, they wouldn't do that. Not with this management team. I saw this posted on Yahoo message board. (This guy is a long, BTW) Take a look.messages.yahoo.com @m2.yahoo.com BAMM facts by: JOEMUGGS55 (1807/M/Birmingham, AL) 6824 of 7539 I live in Birmingham, I know the Andersons and I am a big fan of Books a Million bookstores. I own a little stock (very little, but worth alot more this week). I also have seen many burned by these little pump and dump schemes. Bamm is a family run company. Everyone on the board is either a relative or family friend (although the last member of the board appointed last fall was Clyde's fraternity brother). I find it amusing that people all over the country refer to this as an internet play. This company has had a site for almost a year. They don't really own the site, it is run by a webmistress. The site essentially just takes orders, which are filled from the Birmingham warehouse in Oxmoor valley - the same warehouse they have used for years. There are no new employees, though steve in marketing is heading most of the internet related functions. Anyone want to guess how many of the executive officers have COMPUTERS in their office?? Not one. What this company does have is an established name in many southern small towns, a very conservative management team with alot of experience in selling books and magazines and a really cool new coffee shop concept (my namesake). An internet play it is not. Those of you who are new to this internet investing craze stear clear of this one until you can read this board at night without seeing all the GAP UP and GAP Down predictions (some of which are mine, but just to make a point).
