Seems to me that ignoring the Aug- mid October problems with the market WCII goes through a definate 'doldrum' period when the stock proce drifts, usually downwards until it gets near to the earnings announcement and everyone ( other than the SI old hands) wakes up and starts to take notice.

We could actually pose the question as to exactly why an institution should buy WCII now? I mean they have to make figures and performance for the year end ( I guess) and buying WCII today is just a waste of time unless a deal comes along and they can't run their funds waiting for deals. So LT holders just have to sit their till my guess the end of 1999 or last Q 99 and ST traders can get in and out and ride the waves and the dips and institutions will come on board when they finally get some really noteworthy numbers.

You need to adopt the RVW strategy here- no doubt.

It is very comforting to see your posts and that you are still here.

Best regards,

L
