JJJ/JC, No blood involved in a snipehunt (unless you trip and hurt yourself in the dark). The one I went on, we used pillowcases to hunt for the snipe. I'll let E'lane fill in the details if she wishes you to know the true secret of a snipehunt. I spent a little time at an all inclusive resort for a friends wedding, but mostly just cruised around the island with my sister whom I brought along. Ochi was ok and Dunn's Falls was lovely, but the 7 miles of white sand in Negril is out of sight. The scuba diving was ok as the reef got a bit beat up from Mitch. I think it would have been a really great time if not for the constant assault of the vendors trying to make a buck by selling whatever and most especially every drug under the sun. By the end of the trip I wouldn't look in the general direction of anyone in fear of being hassled to buy something. I had considered maybe just maybe I'd make the trip extra irie with a sample of the rasta's famous herb as to be in the spirit of the country, but was so annoyed with all the hustling that I couldn't think of anything less appealing. Next time I visit the Caribbean, I'm probably going to Aruba. I'll have to go back to J. though if I take Hedonism II's offer as Offical Spokemodel. Kurt (jus' chillin' mon)

J -

Snipe hunting is a good trick to play on some poor soul visiting or new to the area - it's pretty mean. You tell them all about how good the snipe hunting is and send them off to the woods or wilderness or wherever with a pillow case. You say that you'll be behind them or ahead of them and then you ditch 'em. Eventually they wander back home feeling stupid.

I think this is the game being mentioned here - but then again I'm an ol' fart.
