"The company's chief executive, speaking at the Credit Suisse First Boston technology conference in Arizona, said product demand is firming."

Oh yea. That justifies a 36% jump in the stock. I'll believe their changing their name to WDC.com first. What a difference in the trading of SEG, QNTM, and WDC today. Why? Can't explain that one.

Got this from my broker friend...nice to share:

<<WDC will be supplying Big Blue (IBM) with drives sooner than expected! What a day for the techs.>> (I'll try to get the source of this info and post.)

I assume the nice rise in RDRT is also attributed to their supplying WDC the appropriate MRs.

Needless to say, the charts on WDC, RDRT, SEG, and QNTM have been looking great...DD makers been beaten up so badly - looking better.

WDC will survive!
