Exactly how does one "set up the president"? If he wasn't breaking the law daily, how could he have been set up?

OK, for the sake of argument, Nixon was "set up." They caught him breaking the law, therefore he was "set up."

The rule of law can not be subjected to opinion polls. Otherwise, we'd still have slavery and Jim Crow laws. An admitted perjurer can not be allowed to occupy the office of the Presidency. Defending such a cretin can not be morally or ethically or legally justified. JLA
