WebTV for Windows must be installed before Wavetop; there are VBI codecs and so forth that need to be loaded. I installed on Win98 with a Hauppauge 401 card, the ATI All-In-Wonder is perhaps best supported with the initial Win98 release.

Once you get WebTV for Windows working properly, just download Wavetop2 and install.

>people with WebTV should already be able to enjoy this
service from WAVO, isn't that correct?

Prosperous Soul,

Not sure. The TV would need a tuner card which incorporates
WAVE's Embassy-E system like the HAUP WinTV card.

If it's a matter of downloading software to the current Web TV
box, then it would work. Not being familiar with the Web TV
box, it would depend if it can be upgraded. Does it have a
BIOS, flash memory, etc., I don't know. If so, I would think
you could just upload the software to make the upgrade.

I am not an engineer, but will go through the P/R's from today.
