A black background on the Quote.com site refers to an 'out of sequence' trade.

I always took that to mean that there was probably a dispute, for example, about an earlier trade and that it was cleared up at the price indicated for the 'out of sequence' trade mentioned. SO, I don't read the 16:39:32 trade of 100 units (10K or 100K shares - tough to determine) at $4.00 as being the 'LAST' trade ie. after hours trading. To my understanding these are dispute settlement trades, for example, and hence out of sequence ie. not after hours.

Correct me if I am wrong anyone. Thanks in advance.

Do you, or anyone know why these after hour purchases don't show up. IE, if the last purchase was at 4, why does "previous close" show up at 2 7/8 vice 4?
