This is the same Boeing who last year told everyone that Asia will have minimal impact on its earnings.

Boeing's indicating that problems are widespread

That's been know for a while actually (at least in avionics circles). Laying off 20% of the company is quite a bombshell though.

The father of a girl I work with is a big cheese in personal at Boeing. He had been attending many high-level meetings over the past couple of months. That should have indicated something was up!
