Thanks for the info. What is your take on this?? This announcement came out after the close; the stock was down on the day. It is at the low for the year. The news has not been passed on to all the wire services yet and there is no word from Cambior.$17.50 per ounce in situ! The Adjusted Market Cap per ounce for companies like GIT is more like $27. I am really concerned that a deal has been struck way below the property's true worth and that the company actually agreed to it. Fortunately I own Cambior and I commend them on their skilful(?) bargaining.
