vepoc: I'll cut Mr. Dorsey a little slack here. DELL only broke 61 by 3/16 and it was on below average volume on a day when the entire market was down big time. I try not to use pinpoint numbers when talking about breakouts and support, although sometimes numbers just stick out. Volume is also a critical factor. Dell's last breakout (which then theoretically becomes a support level on the downside) was definitely 60. So then 60 would become support on the downside. The reason Dorsey said 61 is because people who bought the 60 breakout on the way up would not want to lose all their gains, so if DELL breached 61 on big volume they would bail pushing the price down. Then, theoretically, the domino effect takes over.
