Some years ago some colonial Brits decided to share
European culture in that part of the world (SE Asia).

Also ask Sogo Stores (Japanese Macy) about Christmas.

Oh...they most certainly have Christmas in Asia!
It is commercial not necessarily religious.

Yes, they do, atleast in India, with only 2% population christians, Indians are big on Christmas. I guess Indians just like holidays, any excuse will do.
