Hope everyone had a happy day trading.

AVID up a point. Don't forget..this one is now partnered with TEK. Smaller float than TEK and stronger company.. should move ahead of TEK in trading. Think it's got a breakout coming to 30..31.

SPLN (cbs sports web site) fell all the way to 14 3/4 before running back up to 17 7/8. There are all sorts of takeover/merger rumors going around on this one.

WAVO has all the right news for a gap tomorrow am. I'm holding it overnight (yes, I'm crazy enough to hold internets).

I also picked up a little SATH on rumors that the Shop-at-home network is going to announce a web site this week.

Like SER too.. and Mrs. Cleaver's thoughts on CIEN. It has a nice little trading pattern.. runs up on Friday.. on takeover rumors. Play the stock or play the calls.

Just picked this up a few minutes... This is from the EGGS message board 5 minutes ago:

"CNBC just reported that Nasdaq has confirmed to them that it does not plan to increase margin requirement for the internet stocks. CNBC stated that the rumor of Federal Reserve pondering increase in margin requirement was started by the short sellers who wanted to cover their position at a cheaper price. This means that internet stocks should be soaring tomorrow. I hope the people who sold their positions based on the above rumor feel stupid and complain to the Nasdaq and CNBC for their extensive reporting on this rumor but yet they only gave 15 seconds to say Nasdaq has no plan to increase margin requirement."

I wonder what effect this will have on the over all market tomorrow?
