Oh yeah, that margin thing.

If I was doing that, I'd definetly sell a day before earnings. You might miss out on a good report and the runup afterwards, but you would get out with a profit. And thats the name of the game. ( I have to keep telling myself that after yesterdays internuts)

I've never used the margins. Scary enough for me with my own money.

Edit.... ( and as you probably know now, not sure exactly how that works)

John! What did you buy on margin a few years ago and are still holding?? How has that worked out for you??Are you well ahead of the loan rate and price of the stock you paid back then. When will you get rid of your margin or do you plan to let your investment grow indefinately??
