This is absolutely correct ... Intel does an excellent job of meeting their
performance objectives with the minimum amount of risk to manufacturability
and schedule. Copper is a very good example of Intel weighing the choices
and understanding the trade-offs ... Then deciding that they can meet
their .18um performance without Copper. I think AMD is presently learning
about "risk" with Copper. <ggg>
