Rick: You're right. The problem is with MDAC. I was told the conversion from VB5 to VB6 did them in. Pretty sloppy of the developers to screw up the packaging. It's obvious they didn't test the download version on an off-the-shelf retail machine. They REALLY need to get their act together.

If I have the wrong version of the Access runtime, how will registering it properly fix anything? Seems to me that might confuse the issue even more than it already is. Might make one of my existing applications break, assuming they use the Access runtime.
