Louis:

I rarely trade in this kind of stock, but am in and long at the moment.

The deal here is yes, the selection of music is limited (or, "sucks", if you prefer), but it is expected that this is the beginning of something catchy. More to the point of the run-up, I believe the float is not more than 1.3 million shares, and so those that want in will have to offer a premium. Even with the past week's increase, I still use the future tense, as this issue, even before the web page, has been in the teens, and has double-bottomed since.

For more info, admittedly much of it hype, look at the Yahoo boards. While the usual suspects are touting, there is also some pretty good fundamental information there.

Personally, I am expecting mid teens within a few days and then will sell.

Good luck,

- Don

A big plus is their equity position in The Music Connection. Though Platinum's own music selection may not impress you, The Music Connection at musicmaker.com has many more titles and is always adding more. For example, they have a nice country selection from Sun Records. So, as The Music Connection grows, so should Platinum's worth.
