Tar Heel Heaven....

I have to disagree about Coach Gutts coaching prowess last year. It seemed as though he relied heavily on Jamison and Carter to take him to a national championship. He coached as if every game was too important to lose even to the likes of Hampton, Bethune Cookman and Middle Tennessee State. Never used his reserves when it was obvious he would need them late in the season.

This year looks totally different. He's using everyone on the bench and I love it. He has his team in Cota, Okulaja, Capel, Lang and Haywood. His bench is now giving him valuable minutes on the floor. The inside game should be a lock up but the perimeter is suspect. I still can't see Okulaja as a 3 point threat. Cota will be backed up by Curry come January in time to give him some breathing room come March. Capel might be able to bring the ball up court as well. I think that this year there are no major egos to feed except maybe for Cota. But I guess you need a leader with a little cockiness.
