Mr. sh,

You posted, <<I assume you are referring to the passing of Mr. Fred Arkoosh.>>

Yes, that is correct. Fred died last Saturday evening from complications arising from a bone marrow transplant. I visited with him just a few days before his final crises began and brought with me a warm wool hat for his newly bald head. It was a perfect replica of a cap worn by the Vancouver Millionaires, the 1915 Stanley Cup winners.

Sitting at his bedside I told Fred that the hat was to remind him of all the millions of his own money he'd invested in Naxos and also all the millions he eventually was going to make with Naxos if only he could stick around and keep his hand in. Especially for Fred it was the best one-two motivational combo I could come up with!

We will be attending his funeral this morning and in my heart of hearts I really would like to see Fred in his casket wearing that cool burgundy-red Vancouver Millionaires cap. I think he'd look pretty good in it.

Thank you for your posting. I did not feel that it was my place initially to make a direct announcement on the thread. Those who knew of Fred's condition understood my meaning well, as was my intent. To the rest it was just another of Jerard's cryptic postings.

Prayers all around, everyone!

Jerard P
