RE: Y2K I don't really know what to make of it.. about this time last year I was ready to sell the house and head for the hills..just in case you know..I did buy some gold..and thought I might hold a little more cash than normal just in case..From the investment side I came to the conclusion that it was a "people" problem..not enough bodies to do the checking and testing etc..so I thought the IT personnel types would be good..TSK..KEA..CHRZ and CDO to test the fixes..played them for awhile and got out this spring..haven't revisited the group since.. I do think the media will do its best to scare the heck out of everybody as we get closer and there probably will be an investment play based on that, but I still haven't come to any real conclusions about how serious the problem is and more importantly how it will effect our daily routine if at all..If you hear that the people that are supposed to be fixing the problem are headed for the hills..then best we follow them!!
