Ahh....that is the question. The hardware package is pretty easy to test, as you've done.

The tough part is to look at your applications (programs) and the data they deal with.

The only real difference between a PC & a mainframe is that the PC is far more expensive. I know this looks like a riddle, but consider the following...which is more expensive, a shovel or a bulldozer? [Answer...what sort of job do you need done? Plant a flower or move a mountain?...then you can determine the cost.]

Software is software & data is data, regardless of where it runs.
