Ed,

It amazes me that people who have no idea what they are talking about are allowed to invest in the stock market.

If Microsoft stock splits, EVERYTHING in terms of net balances remains even. Hence, Microsoft's liability to its employees does not change. Put another way, when the stock splits, the number of stock options doubles.

Simple, eh?
