George, I loved your reply to my "you beat me note". Nothing like a little competition hey. :-) I dont take much issue with many of the recent comments by yourself and others. Regarding "the street.com"
It is probably a fine take on the market, but over the years I have found that its best to listen to and read as little as possible regarding market opinions. The more opinions you get, the more clouded your
judgement becomes. You BECOME part of the crowd. I try to keep my opinions mine, and go my own way. Its focus I guess. Regarding xoma, its real easy to lose focus. When I start to second guess stuff,
then I go back and re-evaluate prior releases and patents and medline. I ask myself, do my original reasons to invest still hold true today? Has anything changed? You see we have very short memories and tend to focus on the most current couple or releases and tend to think the world turns on those few releases. I try to look at the whole picture thru occasional review. This helps me a lot, whether its beneficial remains to be seen. VBG. All disclaimers always apply to all my notes. All IMO. Treat as worthless.
