I have been told that this is a problem inherent in the design of cable internet systems. You share access with many others so the more people that sign up and on the slower the service. I have no personal experience with cable connections myself so I can't say.

It's just a matter of time before ATHM is trading below 30 again. Yes, I shorted more in the upper 60's and have not covered yet.
