Yeah, corx has certainly been a stinker,
I thought this had found bottom, and instead
had to sell more than half my shares when a
mental stop loss arrived awfully fast (that
little fake move in the chart nov10-20 got me).

My advice, set this one aside and don't worry
about it, anybody who got in on this to speculate
knows it is low odds/high payoff. With a market cap
of only about 3M based on the number of common,
any good news could fire this thing off like a rocket.

What do you all have to say about voting on
this thing about increasing shares from 20m
to 30m...there are supposed to be something
like 10m of common out there now.

Finally, this is for Broady, Bill Gates is
giving 100m over ten years to PATH--Program
for Appropriate Technology in Health. The
article in the Journal today said this will help
in child vaccination efforts in developing
countries, although the gift will not be used
to actually buy or distribute vaccines, but
rather to address the problem of lowering the
cost of vaccine, and to extend existing
vaccination programs with three new vaccines
(flu, pneumonia, and rotavirus).

regarding Parkinsons...I'll bet a smart campaign
with a few well placed adverts in prime time could
net a couple million viewers times a hundred bucks
...Parkinsons foundations will surely get some money
out of any publicity which Mr. Fox brings to the
disease. Newbies--Cortex specifically addresses it's
work in the areas of Alzheimers and Schizophrenia
(AMPA receptor program) in it's most recent letter to
shareholders.

"What traded stock company is working directly in research of Parkinson's??"

VB, a lot. For the list, with links, of Cos with projects in neurological disease areas, please, go to the end of this page:

signalsmag.com

You may want to look at the text also.

"Doctors say if they had a billion dollars they could cure it in 1-2 years."

Yes, and toothpaste will solve all problems in our life just for couple of $, according to TV ads.
It will take decades and, probably, trillions, but, yes, it's better to do something even now <g>

Good luck.

VBroady,

So M J Fox has Parkinson's Disease? I
had heard that he was shaking a lot on
the set of his show "Spin City". I kind
of enjoyed the show but it is a sign of
the times that we find humor in the fact
the Politicians rely on spin, half truth,
deception, and lies to get through the day.

As for the disease, I think it will take a
lot of work to find a cure. Like Alzheimer's
Disease, it involves the death of brain tissue
and to find a way to repair the damage is
going to take decades of research still.
