rocky, i just went thru a big mess with etrade along with all their other customers. something about MM software going down. the problem started a discussion on the etrade thread about which brokers were able to execute during difficult days. fwiw fidelity seemed to come out really well. they were getting orders executed quickly when others were delayed or in some cases they were getting timely and efficient trades while several other brokers were not able to execute at all. i dont know if they are discount or not. hope this helps, Mike
