Here's the weather this morning, from a friend in Nain...

Ed,
considerable clearing overnight. Things looking pretty good here in
Nain, but there is still reduced visibility, so tough to say about
flights. No mention on CBC this morning about flights (choppers will
usually go short distances in rougher weather, but not too much rougher).However, the high pressure mass that hit the coast last night was so severe, there were reports this morning on CBC of lightning and thunder in Rigolet (200 kms south of Hopedale).
