Re: CNBC this morning had a WSJ reporter on with a story about rumors Brazil

That rumor might bring the market down, at a time when the market could turn.

May the truth be with you.

Rich- I've seen this argument posted on some other threads "Because of Boeing layoffs, Dow will go down.."

Doesn't a layoff announcement usually BOOST a stock (the company is perceived as aggressively cutting costs (fat) which most pseudo-capitalists like...

I don't know of a lot of evidence that supports the market tanking when layoffs are announced..

Also, Brazil is not going to devalue....They will play with the bands...this will not effect the market, IMO...

The market is doing (now) what all the bulls wanted it to do (taking a breather, regrouping...all those esoteric phrases for "not going up")...I think the action of the last couple days will support another up move in a few days..

Dell has been impressive the last couple days, no? Where have all the boo-birds gone that love to hop on the thread when Dell has had a couple of bad days?
