Martin Waters underwent major heart surgery (triple by-pass) not long after taking the CEO post. I understand that the state of his health was causing increasing concern - and that he stepped aside on good terms to become a non-exec. Exactly how this persuaded Garry out of "retirement" would be of interest to me. From what I understand Garry has all that it takes to lead the merged group to prosperity - but what exactly were his personal plans on selling ISLI and why did he do an about turn - and will such a rapid change impact his credibility/ability to do a good job??
