" copy email from Netscape Messenger Mailbox to a Zip?"

Well, I guess the least original way would be to use "File->SaveAs" from the menu. But, TIMTOWTDI:

1. Highlight all text in the message. Use "Edit->Copy" to another file you have opened in a text editor. Save file on Zip.

2. Use a digital camera to take a photograph of the screen. Transfer to PC, save on Zip.

3. If you don't have a digital camera, use a film camera to take a picture of the screen. Run through scanner, save as TIF, use Adobe Acrobat Writer to translate to PDF, save on Zip.

4. If you don't have a film camera, use a PDA with the special "pen" to faithfully transcribe email. Use handwriting recognition software in the PDA to convert to machine-readable file. Clean up file (a lot). Transfer to PC, save on Zip.

5. If you don't have a PDA, use very sharp pencil to write entire contents of email in itty-bitty letters onto the label of Zip disk.

There are undoubtedly other ways, also.
