Tip, Mortgages are horrible investments. When you are right, they are short term notes. When you are wrong, they are long term bonds. I do not think FTU's are any worse than anyone else's. I just think it is an awful asset to count on for performance.

Providian is too popular a whipping boy for me. I dislike it, but it always pops up as a target. I prefer the ones that others consider sure things.

The credit card cos have already been hit hard.

I also plan to use the derivatives banks, which are mostly money center. After the BT deal cools a bit.
