Thanks JP & Jas for your comments.

Sounds like it will come down to who's crap I'll be willing to take from time to time, as they all seem to have weaknesses in different areas.

I'm definetely passing on Scotia, as an email telling you to check their website sounds ridiculous, and speed is always a concern. I used Webbroker over my cable modem, and execution times are too inconsistent.

I think I may just have to open an e-trade account, and hope both of them don't have problems at the same time.

I know some others here maintain 2 or more accounts with different brokers, but my problem with that is that I need access to ALL my funds sometimes. What if I need the bit of cash left in the other account to make a trade in the first? I guess it works better when you can afford to keep enough cash in both. I hope to make the cash if I can find the right broker.....catch 22....what to do.

Well, thanks to all for your advice, and nice thread you have here.

Regards,

Nabeels
