Ticketmaster IPO price raised

From experience, TSQD's big upswings were 1) when DRIV's filings were made official, and 2) when the IPO market seemed poised for BIG gains. If the Ticketmaster/Citysearch IPO takes off as expected, people will start looking for the next big one. uBid may take off soon too, that one could set records with its tiny (1.5 million) float. All looks good for BANY for NOW. But if any internet IPOs disappoint, look for BANY to suffer likewise - as TSQD investors found out when COOL preceded DRIV and flopped one week before DRIV's disappointing IPO back in the doldrums of August.

Get ready to rock on Friday:

NEW YORK, Dec 2 (Reuters) - In a sign of strong demand for another Internet-related
stock, the expected price range on Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch's initial public offering has been increased to $11-13 a
share from an originally planned $8-10.

Nationsbanc Montgomery Securites, the lead underwriter for the seven million share IPO, said the deal is scheduled to price
Thursday night, with shares debuting on Nasdaq Friday.
