1. THQ has CLEARLY stated that they want to improve their distribution in Europe. Continued growth DEMANDS that Europe be a part of the company's long-term vision. In fact, I remember posting early this year that European sales were off from the company's target, and they even discussed their disappointment in that area. Looks like they have addressed this issue with this acquisition. Whoever posted THQI wants to be the best company in the US was only half right, they want Europe BAD !!!

2. I opened December's Boys Lige Magazine (Cub Scouts), and right on the inside of the front cover was a full page ad for the THQI Rugrats game. Nice looking ad, GREAT location. I want to popint out that seeing an ad for Rugrats in a weekend newspaper is NOT the location where I expect them to pop up. Think like a kid ... this is a kid's game. If you look where kids normally look (Nickelodeon, children's magazines, etc.) you will see the ad's ARE there. Demand for Rugrats is going to be driven by children asking their parent's for the game much more than parents seeing an ad in the weekend paper.

3. aC, you're wrong on Rugrat sales, which I think won't bother you too much :o)

And, you gotta remind me about selling my shares huh? LOL, ok the gloves are off then ... and in all fairness I DID buy mine all back (and a litle more actually) at an $1/8 below what I sold them at. I also feel THQI CAN be traded, but I am not nimble enough to make it worth my time, and I feel somewhat qualified to do it. In the end, I agree that THQI is a buy & hold, since the long-term growth works in your favor while minimizing the work involved.

5. Any short-term pullback IS a buying opportunity in my opinion, I will be a buyer if we move down into my range.

Rugrats (Thats for you aC :o), JB

Todd,

We know very little. The one thing I was curious about was the fact that they have nice Revenues, but no mention of Earnings. I would venture that this portion of Funsoft may not be making money. The purchase price was small for the size of Revenues.

I think this is a tremendous acquisition for the long term, but it may be a small drain for the near turn. This is just my opinion. I checked the web site and read through all the pages and was unable to find much regarding sales and/or revenues for this subsidiary.

Todd -- THQI's price/sales ratio is 1.91. price to sales ratio for Rushware purchase is $6MM/$34MM or .18. looks great on the face of it, but i don't know whether the comparison is valid.

high of 29 1/8 so far this afternoon. shorts getting re-squeezed?
