More competition for NM

WavePhore offers Internet TV shopping service

PHOENIX (Reuters) - WavePhore Inc., developer of an innovative Internet broadcast system delivered
via previously unused television frequencies, said on Tuesday it had introduced a new online shopping
mall, sending its stock surging 83 percent.

The stock gained $6.50 to $14.25 in extremely heavy trading Tuesday morning after the company
announced plans to offer a new Internet-based and graphics-rich shopping mall delivered over its
WaveTop television broadcast service.

The company said it had signed up nine merchants initially to sell merchandise and services on its new
electronic commerce system.

Merchants include Godiva Chocolatier, Dow Jones & Co. Inc.'s Wall Street Journal, Barnes & Noble
Inc., Audio Book Club, CompUSA, Fragrance Counter, NextCard, Shop-at-Home, and VideoMaker
magazine.

WaveTop is an Internet-based service transmitted via an unused portion of the television signal that
carries the Public Broadcasting System's television network nationwide to computers equipped with TV
tuners. In effect, the system turns the Internet into a broadcasting medium similar to television.

The system offers a range of news and entertainment programming and, with the introduction of the mall,
a variety of shopping choices.

To the thread...Who gets the E4Less revenue from sales of merchandise? I listened to the Vcall and it clarified the 50/50 split on membership fees. Is it also 50/50 for the profits from selling all those 800,000 items? If so, this has to be a no-brainer buy and hold, eh?

Does NM get to keep the revenue from infomercials also, or do they just sell the advertising time to corporations like Tefal (cookware)?
In summary: "show me dah money!(?) "
